These boots look gorgeous, even with modern clothes. They give the vibe of riding boots (or so I have been told), so they should fit sporting gear well, too.
They walk well on dirt, gravel and cobblestone, even when it's raining. I haven't been able to test them on snow yet, but they are a delight to cycle with. As one would expect from bicycle boots, but it had to be mentioned.
I have had issues finding tall boots that fit my calves, but these do fit - the smallest possible lacing and belt notch, but they do fit! Because of this, I have to circle the shoelaces around the calves before actually tying them, but it this works well for me.
However, the belts are a small issue, since they stick out quite a bit if worn on the last two notches. A loop to secure them closer to the calf, similar to the ones seen on waist belts, would have been nice.
Over all, I am extremely happy with this purchase, and I hope to wear these boots for years to come. My local cobbler will have a new customer when they will eventually need new soles, that's for sure.
